Parental supervision is a prerequisite for enabling
1. Both parents and minors need to use the updated app to enable it.
2. Both must have an Instagram account.
3. Both must agree to enable this feature.
4. A teenage boy or girl should be between 13 and 17 years of age.
5. A parent can supervise a teenager's account.
How to launch
Activation of this feature requires sending and accepting an invitation to parental supervision. Follow the below steps to invite.
1. After launching the Instagram app, click on the profile picture at the bottom right and go to the settings option.
2. Tap on the supervision option there. Then select the Family Center option.
3. Tap on the Create Invite button.
After that, the parent or teenager who receives the invite, has to accept it. If the teenager invites, the service will start as soon as the parent accepts. Similarly, if the parent invites, the feature will not be activated until the teenager accepts it. Once this feature is enabled, the parent can view all of the teenager's account information.
